Mayo’s Rolling Thunder of Joshua

Here are the pictures from Thunders first show and my first show as well. It was a great time. I heard about the show on a Thursday and decided that, even though I didn’t have a clue of what to do or what to expect, I was going to go and enter Thunder on Saturday and Sunday in conformation. So, we had two days of dog shows and guess what….he won his class and best of sex…..both days, he was great. The best of show was really close for us and the judges said we just need more ring time and we should be fine. So, I have 50 points for the weekend, halfway to a Champion title. I am a very happy and proud Joshua bulldog owner. I have to admit, I didn’t expect to win either day and especially not both. I was hoping to just learn a lot and hopefully place. We also did some bite work with some of the guys there and although Thunder was a little uncertain with it at first, he took to it in no time. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Thanks for a winning bulldog.

PS…On Sunday, one of the dogs we beat for best of sex male, was also a son of Josh and the gentleman lives in Columbus, OH, so Ohio is representing Joshua Kennels well.

1-18-2008...Hi Lem , hope this finds you well.... I thought I would send you a couple of pics of Deuce & Darla so you could see how they are growing and shaping up.... Deuce is now about 19 months and around 125 lbs and Darla was 8 months yesterday and was 75 lbs. and I think she is beautiful... You sure breed some awesome Bulldogs !

He has been the best dog my wife and I have ever owned... Vary stable temperament, people lover, but will guard his territory. He is, and always will be a part of our family ! He's almost 5 years old, 94 lbs and is still as healthy and nimble as he was at 2 yrs...

I'm now looking for a female to add to our family... Not for breeding but for companionship for Rue and family protection... I can't see going anywhere else but Joshua's Kennels....

BTW, is it too late to see if Rue will catch a hog ? He has been obedience trained already...

Just wanted to let you know that Lucy saw snow for the first time today (we got 5 inches) and she loved it! See attached pics.
This dog is truly amazing. Just over 8 weeks old and she's already staying on command (10+ seconds), sitting on command, lying down on command and hasn't had an accident in the house in over a week.
She is growing like crazy! I'll keep you updated with photos.
