my name is Heike, and I'm the owner of White Bandit's Kid a.k.a Oskar.  He is a son out of Atze/Ida and Oskar was born on 29.05.2004. I work with him on the Begleithundeprüfung (BH), he did the ZTP and also the AD , which is the Ausdauerprüfung (means he had to run on the bike for 20km). He was also shown on some Shows, he won 2nd Place Nov, 2004 in Lüdenscheid (Angelikas Show) puppies 3-6 months. In Bad Rappenau Eastern 2005, he did 3. Place Saturday 9-12 Months, and 2. Place Sunday) In Rastatt he took 2nd Place (he was the youngest in the ring) Male 1-2 years old. We also work in Turnierhundsport (THS) which is almost equivalent to Agility, but more exciting he is now best Standard Male 2006.

Dear Mr. Miller,

    I'm so sorry to hear that Josh passed away. I've been thinking of you and your dog a
lot the last couple of months. Knowing that Josh was getting older, I wanted to know
how he was doing. I don't know if you remember me? You sent me semen about five
years ago and I matched it up with my dog AJ. (A female out of  Koa x Dixie Lee) I had
planned to keep just a couple of females from that litter. But, there was a male that
(right from the start) just stood out in so many ways that I couldn't give him up. 

    Having this dog makes me realize just how much you must have lost when Josh
passed away. His son is one of the most self-confident dogs I have ever owned.

    Thank you Lem. Thanks for being so patient and helpful with my breeding years ago. 
I'm thankful that your experience and insight has helped me put these dogs by my feet.

Sandra, is from Selm Germany and as you see she loves her bulldogs. "Girlfriend" is out of Joshua's Ol' Southern White aka "Josh" OFA Excellent, and Imperial Sheba Girl of Joshua, OFA Excellent. Girlfriends hip evaluation by German standards is the equivalent of an OFA Excellent. This makes 3 generations of Excellent hips for Joshua Kennels starting with the legendary "Cowboy" which was Josh's Sire. No other kennel can boast of an Excellent producing an Excellent which produced an Excellent. Joshua Kennels has 3 bulldogs that has produced an Excellent!!!!

As you know, we´ve got White Bull´s Honeymoon aka "Hope". Her mother is "Bathsheba". Making Hope a granddaughter of the "Legendary" "Cowboy". Two weeks ago, she won her class at first and then won over all females. She has got the title "Bundessiegerin 2001". That means best standard female in Germany 2001. Thought that you would like to hear about that.

We want to tell you that Scarlett hips was x-rayed with 18 month. Here
the result: Scarletts hips became a B 1 it is the same like OFA good. We
are very lucky about this. Scarlett ist a very athletic bulldog. She is
the best muscular bulldog female we have ever seen and this isn´t
overacted. It is truth.
At the 08.04.2001 ABA Bundessiegershow in Hamburg-Tornesch we have
Scarlett present and she makes the third place.
Today Scarlett have won at the ABA-Show in Ludweiler/ Saar in her class
(female 12-24 month) and she have make successful the ZTP
(Breeding-fitness-test).
In the protection work make Scarlett very good progress.
We are so happy with our "little" girl. Thank you for this wonderful
female.

She really is just incredible. We could never thank you enough. This Josh X Oz breeding has produced one incredible puppy. She is an over achiever in our Schutzhund club and won the puppy sprint race and driviest puppy contest, she also won best female puppy, all this in a single day at Heart of Dixie show 2004.

Hey Lem, 
Just wanted to send this photo to you of Teutul -- from Josh and Belle.  He is just under eight months in this photo.  I have to say he is one of the most loving family oriented dogs we have owned.  I started him at obedience school at four months with the intention of taking him through advanced and then possibly protection.  I underestimated his weight though and ruptured two discs putting him in the truck.  Two surgeries later and I still love that dog half to death.   He is so strong my husband (who is also very strong) has a bit of a challenge on his hands with him on the leash.  I can't wait till he settles down a bit from his puppy ways and I can take him out places again.  He loves to go to the coffee shop and socialize!! Anyways,  thanks again for such a great dog.   I am probably just a touch biased but I think he is the most handsome southern white that I have seen.

As promised, please see another picture of Caldey's Joseph at eight months 1 week.  23 inches to the shoulder, 95lbs on the vet's digital scales.
 

We hope to enter him into his first show here in the UK in May - any tips you have would be gratefully received -  as well as any training tips.  He is very well behaved although still quite excitable around other dogs.  We think he looks like Joshua and Baby or maybe that's just wishful thinking!

Hope you like and he does Joshua's Kennel credit.

He is a great dog.  He loves to get out and play in the woods tracking scents and chasing birds.  Already he is so protective of the house, if he hears anything outside he starts barking and runs to the doors. thank you for the great dog.

Also, I have puppies out of Ida Red, our granddaughter of Joshua's Sand Valley Sam aka "Cowboy". One of the pups is a carbon copy of Cowboy! Wow and 12 puppies more with a lot of color, most of them red. May be you are interested in this combination let me know what do you want female or male.  Hay's American Bulldogs. She sent us this pic with the outstanding news that "Josh Jr." has the best rated hips in New Zealand (rated 4) while Bomb is rated 5. Both ratings would be our equivalent of an OFA Excellent!!!!! In New Zealand
the hips are rated from 1-120 with 4 being the best in the country WOW!!!

I've just got to let you know how impressed I am with my new puppy! She is
the most intelligent dog I've ever owned. She adjusts so quickly to new stimulus, always
confident. For example, I began crate training almost immediately after getting her. The first time in the crate she cried, which is obviously normal and expected. However, the second time she cried drastically less, and the third time she didn't cry at all. She understood that crying would not get her out of the crate. I have never seen a dog grasp this subject so quickly. Amazing! Also, when teaching her house manners like sitting before she walks through the door, and letting me go first before she proceeds, she was as quick as a whip to learn. Lastly, housebreaking was a dream because after taking her
outside only twice, she recognized the pattern and would walk to the front door when she needed to go potty. Now that she has all her shots, she has begun to go on walks.
People constantly stop us to meet her, and always comment on her beauty and confidence. She is also quite a lover and always kisses her momma on the face without biting ( which has been a problem with my other dogs at first.) My puppy is independent, but is always following me around. We have made an incredible and unbreakable bond. I am so proud of her lineage.

Josh and Sheba are the first breeding pair of OFA Excellent bulldogs in the world and have produced top bulldogs (working and Best in Show conformation) in Germany, France, New Zealand and the US. Recently, a "Best Female" was won by Ellie at the NKC Nationals hosted by Alan Scott and then a "Best In Show" in Bushnell, November 2001. This was certainly no fluke for this caliber of conformation runs in this line. Both "Josh" and "Cowboy" were and are "Best in Show" winners with "Cowboy" winning the 1998 ABA National Championship and "Josh" winning the 2003 NKC National Championship.
